A high-precision ALPS Blue potentiometer ensures accurate volume control across its range. Eight separate power supplies serve the amplification stages up to the driver transistors, offering a total of 13,200μF of capacitance for the stabilized power rails. Four additional high-current power supplies—providing 72,000μF of total capacitance—are dedicated exclusively to the output stages. For signal purity, all inputs are routed through sealed relays in an inert atmosphere with gold-plated terminations. True to Audia Flight’s sonic philosophy, the logic control section is isolated from the analog audio circuitry via photo-couplers and powered by its own dedicated toroidal transformer. Powering your loudspeakers are two 100-watt amplifiers, each supported by a massive 576VA toroidal transformer in a fully dual-mono layout. Audia Flight’s proprietary current-feedback design ensures remarkable speed, dynamics, and clarity, while delivering tight, controlled bass that brings your music to life with breathtaking realism. Every interaction with the Flight Three S feels intuitive and refined. Input selection, volume, and mute (with level memory) can all be controlled via the front panel or remote. The optional 24-bit/192kHz USB DAC board, built with high-grade discrete components, delivers stunning musicality from digital sources. Meanwhile, the optional MM/MC phono stage, available via Input 1, extracts exceptional detail and warmth from your vinyl collection. Additional features include a discrete high-performance headphone amplifier, capable of properly driving a wide range of headphones. A remote-selectable “Direct” mode allows the Flight Three S to function as a power amplifier, making it a perfect fit within a home theater or multi-channel setup—while still delivering top-tier two-channel performance for stereo listening. The rear panel also offers a remote trigger input, monitor input, record output, and an unbalanced preamp output—with the ability to disable the internal amplifiers if you wish to use an external power amp.
