A precious golden plaque on the front immediately highlights the exclusive class of this device. The amplifier’s chassis is a masterpiece of precision engineering. Starting with a bespoke aluminum casting of the highest grade, the chassis undergoes precise CNC machining before being polished to a mirror-like sheen by hand. Select critical areas receive additional hand-finishing, shot peening, and anodization, culminating in a breathtaking display of metalwork artistry. Finally, elegant silk-screening adorns the finished product, adding the final touch of sophistication.

Unmatched Craftsmanship and Advanced Components

Inside this stunning exterior lies a world of expertly crafted electronics and superior Italian workmanship. The Strumento N°4 Signature features a fully balanced circuitry and shows an extensive use of high-end components along the signal path that elevates audio information processing to perfection. The capacitors are from the German brand Mundorf, the resistors are Vishay ZFoil and Dale, and all relays are high-frequency Reed relays. Binding posts are from Mundorf brand too. Its massive power supply, equipped with a staggering 280,000µF of ultra-low impedance capacitors, ensures impeccable energy delivery and signal fidelity. Custom-printed boards are enhanced with extra gold surface, all internal parts related to the audio signal, as bars, spacers and so on, are gold-plated to ensure perfect contacts over time.

Revolutionary Power Supply Design

The Strumento N°4 Signature’s power supply architecture sets new benchmarks in audio amplification. Each channel is powered by two super high-current supplies and supported by four independent stabilized stages: two for the input stages and two for the Audia Flight current-feedback stage. This sophisticated setup minimizes noise, while ultra-fast rectifiers and low-impedance capacitors ensure flawless power filtration. Two robust 150VA toroidal transformers handle the main stages, while a 15VA toroidal transformer manages logic control and protection circuits. The absence of traditional fuses in the output stage power supply eliminates resistive sound degradation, replaced instead with advanced microprocessor-monitored current sensors for superior sonic purity.

Exclusive Audia Flight Gain Stage Design

At the core of the Strumento N°4 Signature lies a proprietary Class A current-feedback gain stage, housed within an aluminum enclosure and encapsulated in epoxy resin. This enclosure not only provides thermal stability for discrete components but also shields the circuitry from electromagnetic interference, ensuring optimal performance. The output stage benefits from a custom-built 3000VA transformer, sealed in epoxy resin and dual ferromagnetic shields to deliver immense power and isolation.
