Its robust chassis begins as a bespoke aluminum casting, machined to perfection using advanced CNC technology. Immaculate Internal Design

Inside this exquisite case lies an uncompromising approach to electrical and mechanical design. Fully balanced circuitry and premium-grade components are the foundation of the Strumento N°8 Signature. An extensive use of high-end components along the signal path elevates audio information processing to perfection. The capacitors are from the German brand Mundorf, the resistors are Vishay ZFoil and Dale, and all relays are high-frequency Reed relays. Binding posts are from Mundorf brand too. The amplifier features a massive power supply, integrating 190,400µF of low-impedance capacitors to ensure optimal energy flow and signal integrity. Custom-printed circuit boards, enhanced with high-grade gold surfaces, and ultra-fast rectifiers further eliminate any performance bottlenecks. All internal parts related to the audio signal, as bars, spacers and so on, are gold-plated to ensure perfect contacts over time. The power supply architecture is an engineering marvel: two independent, super high-current power supplies serve the amplifier’s single channel, along with four separate stabilized stages for ultra-low noise and exceptional stability. Dual 150VA toroidal transformers and an additional 15VA transformer manage power distribution and control logic with the utmost efficiency. Remarkably, there are no fuses in the output stage power supply, as they have been replaced by microprocessor-controlled current sensors to eliminate the resistive limitations of traditional designs.

Class A Current Feedback Circuitry

The gain stage showcases Audia Flight’s exclusive Class A current-feedback design, housed within an aluminum shield and encapsulated in epoxy resin to protect against thermal fluctuations and interference. Meanwhile, the output stage is driven by a colossal 3000VA custom audio transformer, encapsulated in epoxy resin and enclosed in dual ferromagnetic shields for the ultimate isolation and energy delivery.

Advanced Vibration Control

Mechanical design is equally meticulous: the power transformers are physically decoupled from the main audio circuitry to mitigate any vibrations. An independent chassis ensures these transformers can discharge residual energy to the ground, preserving sonic purity even at the most demanding sound level.
